The big Λ on the label — the Greek letter Lambda — stands for ΛΕΥΚΟ (“Lefkό”) meaning White. Introducing new winemaking technology and knowhow to a country with a vast treasure of grape varieties and an enormous diversity of soils and climates is bound to yield minor miracles. Proof of this lies in the multitude of quality Greek wines that have been emerging from such efforts. Megapanos White is one.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

Separate vinification in white of the component grape varieties with partial prefermentation cryo-extraction. Next, alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature (18-200C) in order to bring out the maximum intensity of each variety’s aroma. The blend is created during the ageing phase.
