Το an outstanding wine produced from the renowned grape variety “Agiorgitiko” of Nemea . The wine is aged for two years in oak barrels and is then bottle-aged for a further two years in our cellars. It is characterized by its deep ruby color, its rounded taste, and its rich bouquet of sour cherries, blackberries and spices.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

Selected grapes are destemmed and then directed to the stainless steel tank where fermentation takes place at a temperature of 28-30°C for a period of 6-7 days. This ensures the maximum possible extraction so as to bring out the full character of the Aghiorgitiko grapes and enhance the ability to age. The wine is subsequently clarified with the use of gelatin and placed in barrels made of Greek oak to age for a period of two years so as to acquire a truly Greek character. It is then filtered using membranes of 0.8 micron in diameter, bottled, and laid down in our cellar for a further period of two years before it is offered to consumers. Hence by the time it is placed on sale this wine has been aged for at least 4 years. It is only available in a limited quantity - not more than 4000 bottles annually.
