The Laboratoty
If the winemaking facilities are a winery’s stomach, the laboratory is its heart. It is here that the mechanism which controls the entire production process beats continuously throughout the year, whether rapidly, as it does during harvesting and vinification, or more calmly, as it does during the long period when the oenologist allows the wines to mature in their own proper time.
In the laboratory, the must and wine are repeatedly analysed in order to ensure that the highest standards are maintained, in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP certifications of quality and security that the A. Megapanos Winery has achieved.
